Water Rates 

As of October 1, 2025

Inside City Limits

  • Base: $14.63
  • $2.43 per 1,000 gallons - First 2,000 gallons
  • $3.20 per 1,000 gallons - 2,001 to 8,000 gallons
  • $4.10 per 1,000 gallons - 8001 to 12,000 gallons
  • $5.14 per 1,000 gallons - 12,001 to 20,000 gallons
  • $6.30 per 1,000 gallons - 20,001 to 25,000 gallons
  • $6.45 per 1,000 gallons - All over 25,000 gallons

Lawn Meters

  • Base: $14.63
    All water consumed: $6.45 per 1,000 gallons.
  • Inside City Limits
    A 10% City tax on water only will be added.
  • Outside City Limits
    A 10% surcharge will be added.

Sewer Rates 

As of October 1, 2025

  • Residential Single Family: $25.95 per month plus $3.62 per 1,000 gallons of water used or discharged not to exceed 16,000 gallons.
  • Multiple Family, Apartments, Motels, and Trailer Parks: $25.95 per month plus $3.62 per 1,000 gallons of water used or discharged times the number of units, not to exceed 16,000 gallons per unit.
  • All Non-Residential: $25.95 Per Month Plus $3.62 per 1,000 gallons of water used or discharged.
  • Customers on Water Well Connected to Sewer: Rates shall be $83.98 per month per unit
  • Customers Not Connected (Sewer Available): Sewer Availability Rate shall be $51.79 per month per unit plus usage if not connected within a year of availability.
  • Outside City Limits: A surcharge of 10% shall be added.

Sanitation

As of January 1, 2026

Residential Rates:

  • $7.81 Household Garbage 
  • $6.62 Yard Waste 
  • Extra garbage cart $7.18
  • $17.04 County Tipping Fee
  • $5.73 Recycling Fee 
  • Extra recycle cart $7.18
  • Recycle Processing Fee $1.38

Senior Discount Rates:

  • $6.65 Household Garbage
  • $4.87 Recycle Fee 

Commercial Sanitation and County Tipping Fees are based on dumpster size and number pickups per week.

Stormwater Rates (Inside City Only)

  • $5.14 Residential (Per Unit)
  • $10.31 Commercial ($10.31 Minimum, Per Unit, +$5.22 per each 7500 Square Footage)

10% Late penalty is assigned on all charges except city tax and stormwater after the 10th of each month.

RECLAIMED WATER

  • $1.00 PER CUSTOMER (PARKS AND RECREATION AREAS THT UTILIZE RECLAIMED WATER)
  • $8.00 PER CUSTOMER WITH LOT SIZE .2 ACRE OR SMALLER
  • $14.00 PER CUSTOMER WITH LOT SIZE .21 ACRE TO .40 ACRE
  • $20.00 PER CUSTOMER WITH LOT SIZE .41 ACRE OR LARGER

    COMMERCIAL CUSTOMER .30 PER 1000
