Chef Warren Caterson is back to share kitchen tips, cooking hints, and humorous anecdotes about the joys and challenges of Italian cooking, including easy-to-prepare appetizers, one-pot wonders, and three ways to improve all of your pasta dishes. Chef Warren will explain how traditional Italian cuisine differs from its Italian-American cousin and will explore the differences between Northern and Southern Italian cuisines. He’ll also show how incorporating traditional Italian meals into your weekly repertoire is not only healthy, but frugal as well. Chef Warren will cap off the presentation with a cooking demonstration, preparing a healthy entree that anyone can replicate in their own home in less than 15 minutes.
About Chef Warren
Warren Caterson is a chef and full-time writer who studied at the Southeast Institute of Culinary Arts. He is the award-winning author of Table for Two – The Cookbook for Couples, Table for Two - Back for Seconds, and Cooking Outside the Lines - Musings of an Extemporaneous Chef (Winfield & Scott Press). As someone who grew up in a family that loved to cook and whose household on Long Island Sound bustled every weekend with dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins and neighbors, he learned early-on the benefit of good food and good drink with good friends. In addition to writing, Chef Warren travels extensively presenting his informative and entertaining cooking demonstrations at food & wine festivals, home and garden shows, conventions and other events across the country.
