DIDGERIDOO DOWN UNDER CONCERT
Friday, June 13 | 6:00 pm | Niceville Community Center
Music & More from Down Under and Beyond takes the audience on a musical journey to Australia and other distant lands, as master didgeridoo performer Lindsey Dank plays an assortment of didgeridoos and worldly percussion instruments. The didgeridoo, usually made from a hollowed-out tree trunk, has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1500 years, and it's known for its otherworldly sound. Lindsey plays a modern style, mixing fast-paced rhythms with relaxing soundscapes and organic sound effects. This program is best for adults, but it's OK for kids with parental accompaniment.
