From Shelves to the Shores

Thursday, July 12, 2018

For six weeks this summer, the Niceville Public Library will host the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance to provide a fun, hands-on activity for children. The program will kick off with planting Spartina Alterniflora in salt marsh nurseries at the library. The next 4 sessions will feature activities to help learn about Choctawhatchee Bay. The program will conclude with a restoration field trip where the native salt marsh grasses will be planted along the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay.
