Library Card Policy
Okaloosa County residents may obtain a library card free of charge by presenting photo identification and one of the following items verifying current name and address:
- Auto registration
- Lease agreement
- Printed check
- Recent cable, utility, phone or property tax bill
- Rent receipt
A parent or guardian must sign if the applicant is under the age of 16. This adult is responsible for any items checked out by the minor. Parents are responsible for monitoring their children's use of library resources.
If you would like to register to vote, applications are available at the Circulation Desk. Mail your completed from to the Okaloosa County Supervisor of Elections office, or drop it off at the Circulation Desk and the library will gladly send it for you.
Non-Okaloosa County Resident Fees
Non-Okaloosa residents may obtain a library card for an annual fee of $35 per family.
Guard Your Card
You are responsible for all materials checked out on your card. Please report lost or stolen cards immediately. The lost card replacement fee is $5.
When coming into our library to use the Internet computers, patrons are able to sign on with their library card number. Visitors may sign in at the Circulation Desk.
Anyone under the age of 16 must have an Internet Permission card signed by their parent or legal guardian on file at the Circulation Desk in order to access our computers.
