Facts.com features two great research resources to access Issues & Controversies Current Topics or American History please enter your library card number (14 digit barcode). Use the folder tabs in the top right corner of the screen to toggle between the two resources.

Issues & Controversies Current Topics- Analyzes and explains hundreds of controversial topics, in a language and format that students can understand, with the balance, accuracy, and regular updating. Presents key facts, points of view, bibliographic citations, and contact information that students need to understand topics at the forefront of public debate.

Issues & Controversies in American History - In-depth explorations of the great issues in American History~issues such as religious freedom in the colonies, Civil War Reconstruction, and women's suffrage. This searchable and interlinked online subscription database delivers concise and balanced articles that provide the background, outcomes, and contemporary points of view for the major topics in the American History curriculum.

 

Infotrac Electronic Database

offers access to a variety of great research material which includes more than 4,200 full-text titles and five newspaper indexes. Kid's version also available as well as additional Reader's Advisory, Health, Education and Business resources.
