  • Computer classes/assistance.
  • Free practice tests for GED, ACT, SAT.
    Internet Services
  • Internet computers are available for adults and youth. All you need is an active library card from one of the six member libraries within the Okaloosa County Public Library Cooperative.
  • If you do not have a library card you must sign in at the circulation desk and show a picture ID.
  • You must agree to the library's Internet Use Policy.
  • The cost to print is 10 cents per page.
    Business Information
  • The library offers Valueline and Morningstar.
  • There is also a computer with business resources available.
    Reference Sources
  • Includes Ebsco, Novelist, Florida Electronic Library, and Infotrac.
  • They include full text periodical articles, reader's advisory material, health information, & more.
  • Available on this website.
    Reserve Books
  • If any item in our collection is not on the shelf, it may be placed on hold by filling out a reserve card, or by entering your request via the Online Card Catalog website.
    Books from other libraries-Interlibrary Loans
  • If this library does not own the requested material, it may be borrowed from another library at no charge.

    Youth Services Area
  • Reference Help - book and magazine collections.
  • Educational computer games.
  • Infant, toddler, preschool, and family storytimes.
  • Group storytimes upon request.
  • Library tours.
  • Summer Reading Program.
    Preschool Storytime
  • For 3-5 year olds.
  • Held in the Youth Services area every Wednesday and Thursdays morning at 10:30.
  • New themes each week.
    Baby Bookworms
  • Music, stories and rhymes for babies and toddlers.
  • Every Friday of the month in the library.
  • Prewalkers: 9:30am (birth to walking age).
  • Walkers: 10:30am and 11:15am (walking with confidence).
    After School Program
  • Short stories and arts & crafts for elementary-age children.
  • Second Tuesday of the month from 4:00-5:30pm
  • Join us for a new theme each month.
  • Sign-up is required.
    Family Night
  • Bring the family for a night of free entertainment!
  • This program is held the 4th Thursday of each month from 6:30 in the Community Center.
  • Always a special theme activity.
  • Previous themes have included Japanese Culture, Native Americans, and Explore Greece.
    American Girls' Book Club
  • At 10:00am to 12:00pm the third Saturday
    YS Program Room
    Niceville Children's Park
  • After a library visit, head next door to the Children's park in the Civic Center Complex.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult.
