Every Monday from 11am to 1pm the Master Gardners will be at the Youth Center on Campbell Drive. Until recently you had to go to Crestview or Fort Walton Beach for this service. Niceville, working with the Okaloosa County Extension Office and the Master Gardeners, has provided a space in town. Bring your soil samples, plants and grass and they will analyze them to help you become a better Gardner.

In a couple of days, they'll send a locator to mark the approximate location of underground lines, pipes and cables in your yard, so you'll know what's below - and be able to dig safely.
